Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, will take center stage in this election Democratic National Convention Introduce yourself to the nation Wednesday night.
Walz was the last speaker on a list packed with Democratic heavyweights such as former President Bill Clinton, Oprah Winfrey and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. The agenda also includes rising stars in the party, such as Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, a contender to become Harris’ running mate.
The Democratic National Committee has released schedule guidelines for many speeches, but not all. Winfrey’s comments, for example, remain shrouded in mystery.
