Former President Donald Trump lashed out at pop star Taylor Swift on Sunday, less than a week after the musician endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris.

On Tuesday, shortly after the presidential debate between the two major party candidates, Swift posted an endorsement of Harris on Instagram.

“I think she is a steady, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish more in this country if we lead with calm rather than chaos,” Swift wrote in the post. She also signed the caption “cat lady without kids,” a reference to Republican vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance’s remarks about Democratic women.

Trump has previously shared Fake images generated by artificial intelligence Swift and her fans showed their support for him on social media. Swift cited these types of images as the reason for her public support.

It’s unclear how much of an impact celebrity endorsements, even for a figure as popular as Swift, will have on a presidential campaign. About a day after she endorsed Harris, her post attracted more than 300,000 visitors to Vote.gov, a government website that directs users to state-specific voting information.
