capital one An unspecified technical issue hampered access to customer accounts on Thursday as some users reported direct deposit issues.

in response Complaints against social media platform XA Capital One representative said the bank is experiencing a “technical outage” affecting “multiple functions” and has no timetable for restoring service.

Just before noon on Thursday, the company released an official statement on the issue.

“We experienced a technical issue with a third-party vendor that temporarily impacted some account servicing, deposits and payment processing for some of our consumer, small business and business banks,” the statement read.

Late Thursday, vendor Fidelity Information Services (FIS) released a statement saying it was working to restore applications in its data centers affected by local outages. An FIS spokesman did not respond to multiple follow-up questions.

The problems began around 6 a.m. ET and have received about 2,000 reports, according to DownDetector.com, which tracks user complaints about digital services.

The site said reporting frequency began to level off around 9 a.m. ET, but by 4 p.m., there was still no significant decrease in the number of registered complaints.

The Capital One problem happened the next day Citibank admits Issues affecting customers’ ability to access their accounts from mobile devices, as well as apparent issues related to fraud alerts. While the mobile access issue appears to be resolved, Citi representatives said Thursday on It’s still working to fix the fraud alert program.
