Detroit- General Motors Production of the Cadillac Escalade V-Series high-performance model will increase as part of a 2025 refresh of the flagship SUV.
The new SUV features a standard 55-inch diagonal display on the dashboard, including a passenger-specific screen; an “executive package” for the second row; power doors; large 24-inch wheels; and other enhancements.
“Escalade has always embodied bold American craftsmanship, technology and performance, raising the bar for full-size SUV luxury since its introduction 25 years ago,” Cadillac Vice President John Roth said in a press release.
The Escalade is a key vehicle for Cadillac and brand parent General Motors, serving as the lucrative flagship model in the company’s large SUV lineup. General Motors has led the U.S. market share of full-size SUVs for decades.

Many design tweaks for the 2025 model year, including sleeker headlights and larger interior screens, better align the gas-powered model with the upcoming all-electric model. It continues to feature a massive front grille and a striking road presence.
The 2025 gas-powered Escalade will continue to be powered by two 6.2-liter V-8 engines, including a supercharged V-Series performance model that produces 682 horsepower and 653 foot-pounds of torque.
Cadillac said it will increase production of the 2025 Escalade V-Series, launched two years ago, because it cannot meet demand for the current model year. Officials declined to say how much production would increase.
“We are increasing production to meet customer demand for the Escalade’s top-tier performance, luxury and craftsmanship while maintaining exclusivity,” a Cadillac spokesperson told CNBC.

On Wednesday, the Detroit automaker unveiled enhancements to the 2025 gas-powered Escalade online ahead of production and sales starting later this year.
The Escalade will continue to be built at GM’s Arlington, Texas, assembly plant, along with full-size SUVs from Chevrolet and GMC that share vehicle platforms and other components with Cadillac models.
