The iconic Raffles hotel brand has announced the opening of Raffles Jaipur on July 8, its second hotel in the Indian subcontinent.
The first hotel is Raffles Udaipur, opening in 2021. Dear Eve.
Jaipur, the capital of the state of Rajasthan, earned its colorful nickname in 1876 when its buildings were painted pink as a sign of hospitality to the visiting British monarch.
Raffles Jaipur has 50 rooms and suites, each with a unique layout and décor, according to a press release announcing the hotel’s opening.
In the hotel
The hotel has nine floors of guest rooms and suites, each with butler service and a balcony with an outdoor tub or plunge pool.
According to the hotel, the hotel’s entry-level “Landmark Room” is 70 square meters (753 square feet) and can accommodate two guests. Hotel website.

Hotel suites feature separate living rooms and range in size from 807 square feet for Junior Suites to 2,572 square feet for Suites Rajmata Two-Bedroom Presidential Suite Equipped with swimming pool, steam bath and kitchenette.
The Maharani Royal Suite features a temperature-controlled outdoor pool and private garden.

Dining in a restaurant
The Original Raffles Hotel Singapore Raffles Hotel introduced the Singapore Sling back in 1915.
Raffles Jaipur has its own version of the drink, the pink Jaipur Sling, made with Indian dry gin and orange liqueur. Breakfast is served in the Writers Bar, one of the hotel’s two bars.

A second bar, Sehara, will be located on the hotel’s rooftop and will serve Mediterranean cuisine, according to a press release.
Guests can dine at Arkaa Restaurant, a state-of-the-art North Indian restaurant, where breakfast is also served.

Raffles Jaipur features a 6,674-square-foot spa with hot and cold mineral pools and one-on-one yoga and meditation classes.

The hotel plans to launch an artisan trail later this year that will allow guests to observe Rajasthani artisans at work.
