The sell-off in technology stocks continued this week, with investors dumping more large-cap tech stocks on Thursday.

The tech-heavy Nasdaq fell 0.7% on Thursday, a day after its worst trading day since 2022.

Chip stocks largely drove the moves lower on Wednesday after reports that shares of U.S. investor favorite Nvidia and U.S.-listed Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. fell more than 6% and nearly 8%, respectively.

Concerns have been heightened by concerns over rising geopolitical tensions following comments by former U.S. President Trump.

This is also an important week for profit. Netflix Profit, reported after the bell on Thursday, beat expectations. Its shares fell less than 1% in after-hours trading.
