Former first lady Melania Trump’s upcoming memoir will hit bookstores on September 24, just days before the November 5 presidential election, her publisher told CNBC week.
The book, titled “Melania,” was promoted in a press release Thursday as “a powerful and inspiring story of a woman who forged her own path, overcame adversity and defined personal excellence.” story.
“The former first lady invites readers into her world, providing an intimate portrait of a woman who lived an extraordinary life,” the press release continued.
Melania Trump was born and raised in Slovenia, moved to the United States in 1996, worked as a model, and met Donald Trump in 1998. Pu was born.
Her memoir will be published by Pegasus Press, the conservative imprint behind books by Donald Trump and this year’s other presidential candidate, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is running as an independent.
“This book is a diligent and historically important account of our nation’s recent tumultuous history from Melania Trump’s unique perspective,” Skyhorse President Tony Lyons told CNBC. “It conveys her message of unity, hope and core beliefs of kindness, no matter how much you think you know about this fiercely private woman, there is something more—and something much deeper—in these pages.”
The timing of Donald Trump’s announcement of his own book on the same day as Melania Trump’s announcement of her memoir is unusual. The coffee table book, titled “Saving America,” will feature the iconic photo of Donald Trump exiting the stage after the July 13 assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania.
It’s unclear whether Thursday’s twin book releases are a coincidence or coordinated. Neither of the Trumps’ new book announcements mentioned their spouses’ upcoming book.
