Trump MediaThe social media company whose majority owner is former President Donald Trump reported a net loss of more than $16 million in its latest financial quarter on Friday.
Trump Media, which owns the Truth Social app often used by the former president, also reported a drop in revenue for the quarter ended June 30 compared with the same period last year.
Shortly after Trump Media, which trades under the ticker DJT, began trading publicly in late March after merging with a so-called special acquisition company, its stock price fell sharply from a high of more than $71 a share to close at $26.21.
Republican presidential candidate Trump and his running mate Senator J.D. Vance will face Democratic candidates Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz in the November election.
