Vice President Kamala Harris will deliver a highly anticipated keynote speech on Thursday, capping off the final night of the conference. Democratic National Convention.
On night four, Democratic lawmakers, governors and performers will appear to thrill the audience before Harris delivers her speech.
Speakers included Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper, both of whom were at one point mentioned as Harris’ running mate. The Chicks and Pink will perform.
Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill., is also scheduled to speak. In 2021, Kinzinger was one of 10 Republicans in the House of Representatives who voted to impeach then-President Donald Trump for his role in the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. Kinzinger decided not to run for re-election in 2022.
Speculation and social media chatter surrounding a possible surprise guest have been rising ahead of tonight’s show, and Oprah’s previously unannounced appearance on Wednesday only adds to the drama.
