Japanese Nikkei 225 Index Futures showed that the market opened weaker, with the Chicago futures contract at 37,960 points and the Osaka futures contract at 38,150 points, compared with the previous closing price of 38,371.76 points.
Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 index futures were at 8,004 points, slightly lower than the previous closing point of 8,071.4 points.
Hongkong Hang Seng Index The futures index was at 17,648 points, lower than the Hang Seng Index’s last closing point of 17,692.45 points.
Overnight, the three major U.S. stock indexes all fell during regular trading hours and before Nvidia announced its results, with the Nasdaq falling 1.12% and the S&P 500 falling 0.6%.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 159.08 points, or 0.39%.
