Donald Trump on Friday dismissed more questions about whether he would release current medical records and doubled down on his refusal to provide a health update, despite Kamala Harris’ efforts to cast doubt on his fitness to serve as president.
Asked whether he would release his health records, the 78-year-old Republican candidate said he already shared enough information about his medical condition.
“Yes, my health record – I’ve had five exams in the last four years. You’ve had them all,” Trump told a reporter on the airport tarmac after landing in Detroit, Miss., on Friday afternoon. .
Later, Trump seemed to indicate that he was too busy campaigning for Democratic candidate Vice President Harris to spend time updating his record.
“Obviously, I’m in the middle of a very big, very controversial fight,” he said. “We’re ahead. I’ve had my health check.”
