Cosm currently has two locations in Los Angeles and Dallas, Texas, but plans to expand to more locations in the future.

Cosm, an immersive technology company that uses so-called “shared reality” technology to broadcast live sports events, is partnering with the NFL, the company announced on Monday.

As part of the agreement, Cosm will produce and distribute NFL games at its venues for the remainder of the 2024 season.

The deal includes airing football matches every Thursday night Amazonall Sunday night games nbcevery Monday night football game ESPN and select Sunday’s game fox.

The company was founded in 2020 Mirasol Capitalusing a 360-degree dome and a giant 8K LED screen to provide viewers with a fully immersive “shared reality” experience, just like in the game.

The dome seats about 700 people, and average ticket prices range from $22 to $127. Cosm uses a dynamic pricing model, similar to concerts or live sports.

“The unique thing about an industry like the NFL is that fans are everywhere,” said Jeb Terry, president and CEO of Cosm. “We see fans wearing jerseys, wearing scary towels, wearing cowbells and having an absolute blast. Explosions like they were in the stadium themselves.”

The company did not disclose financial details of its deal with the NFL.

Cosm first opened in Los Angeles and Dallas this summer and recently announced a third location will be located in downtown Atlanta, with future locations to be announced soon.

Cosm has inked deals with the NBA, UFC, ESPN, NBC Sports, TNT Sports, Fox Sports and Amazon Prime Video and broadcasts everything from the Summer Olympics in Paris to the current World Series.

Tickets for Game 1 of the World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees sold out in seven minutes, Cosm said. The second game sold out in a minute.

“Inventory is selling out very quickly,” Terry said.

The shared reality experience gives fans an immersive feeling.

While live sports are Cosm’s core pillar, the company also offers non-sports offerings, including animated voyages through the planets through the eyes of an astronaut and Cirque du Soleil shows. This allows the company to schedule programming throughout lunch and matinee times when live sports may not be available.

As fans’ viewing habits changed, “Cosm” achieved rapid success in its technologically advanced model.

Terry said the venues were already attracting repeat customers and they would soon be introducing membership bonuses and season tickets.

In July, the company raised more than $250 million in funding for global expansion. Cosm is valued at more than $1 billion, and its investors include sports heavyweights such as former Milwaukee Bucks owner Marc Lasry, Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert and David Blitzer, co-managing partner of the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils.
