According to NBC News, Republicans are expected to regain majority control of the U.S. Senate in 2025.
Democrats won 47 of the 100 seats in the Senate in Tuesday’s election. But four independents in the House caucus combined with Democrats to give the party a majority.
Republicans arguably face an easier path to regaining the Senate majority this election cycle.

A total of more than $1 billion is expected to be spent by Election Day to win three key seats in Montana, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
