Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert wants to bring a WNBA team to Northeast Ohio.

Rock Entertainment Group, the company that manages Gilbert’s sports and entertainment assets, told CNBC on Wednesday that it intends to submit a proposal for a WNBA expansion team.
