The outlook for stocks this year appears uncertain given the long-term rise in interest rates, rising inflation and President-elect Trump’s return to office.

As investors think about how and where to invest, CNBC’s Tanvir Gill will ask portfolio manager Knut Gezelius what he sees in the current market Here comes the chance.

Gezelius is the lead portfolio manager at Skagen Global, managing €3.6 billion ($3.7 billion) of assets Skagen Global A Fund. Launched in 1997, the fund seeks undervalued companies with attractive risk-return profiles for long-term investors.

Value investors pride themselves on making investments that buck the trend. His fund returned 23.75% in the 12 months to the end of November, although this was lower than its benchmark index. Major holdings include alphabet inc., Canadian Pacific Kansas City, JPMorgan Chase and Morgan Stanley Capital International.

Gezelius joined Skagen in 2014 from Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he served as an executive director on the global equities team. Prior to that, he served as a senior principal analyst at a power generation and distribution company Entergy Corporation Senior Advisor at investment management firm Applied Value Group.
