President Joe Biden took a swipe at Republican challenger Donald Trump on Sunday night after he boasted about winning not one but two “club championship” trophies at his Florida golf club. .

“Congratulations Donald. That’s quite an accomplishment,” Biden tweeted.

The scathing criticism of the golf-obsessed former president went viral after being posted on Biden’s personal X account. By Monday morning, it had racked up more than 13 million views and counting.

The Democratic social media team has been quick to attack Trump this election cycle as they prepare for a rematch in the 2020 election.

Other social media users have already mocked Trump’s boast on Truth Social, which said: “Tonight on awards night, I am honored to be at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach to accept the Club Champions Trophy and the Senior Club Champions Trophy .”

“I win them all!” Trump wrote.

“Lots of talented golfing members, great and tough courses, make the tournament very exciting. Qualifying and match play are amazing,” he wrote.

Tim O’Brien, a senior executive at Bloomberg Opinion, echoed Biden’s response, writing: “He’s too nice to notice that Trump is a notorious golf cheat.”

Others on X cited sports writer Rick Reilly’s 2019 book “The Cheating Commander: How Golf Explains Trump.”

On Sunday, a user posted a video of Riley’s interview on Twitter, describing how Trump “tried to deceive” legendary golfer Tiger Woods.

“Tiger Woods,” Riley said.

Reilly recalled describing how Trump “chucked a ball,” swung it and threw it into the water, then “said to his partner, throw me another one, they didn’t see it.”

The author also recounted how Trump “told people he won club championships that he didn’t even play in. And then he won at least six or seven tournaments, and he was the only one in the tournament.”

Trump’s alleged golf victory over the weekend may have provided a high profile for the former president during an otherwise stressful time.

Trump has until Monday to post an appeal bond to secure more than $450 million in civil business fraud judgments against him. If Trump fails to post bond, New York Attorney General Letitia James could seize his real estate and other assets to satisfy the damages request.

Shortly after midnight Sunday night, Trump wrote a Truth Society post asking why the judge in his case “should be allowed to take away and sell the very successful property and assets that I spent on Some assets that have taken many years to plan, build and nurture.” The best kind in the world – when I’ve done nothing wrong! “
