Apple hasn’t been forced to cut jobs like its tech peers, largely because the iPhone maker has grown more slowly than its rivals during the pandemic.

Although the California notice did not mention specific projects for layoffs, the layoffs in the document were not located at Apple’s Cupertino headquarters, but smaller satellite offices, which are more likely to implement secretive measures.
