Popular YouTube Groups perfect guywhich is first of all due to its Basketball Skills Shooting, has received a huge nine-figure investment of US$100 million to US$300 million from private investment firm Highmount Capital. The investment will support Dude Perfect in exploring new strategic opportunities and expanding beyond the creator economy.

“We’re really excited to try to unlock some vision and things that we were worried were just dreams,” said Coby Cotton, co-founder of Dude Perfect. “We’re really just trying to scale a lot of things, and so far, we haven’t had any Close ability to do it.”

Dude Perfect has five members: Coby Cotton, Cory Cotton, Tyler Toney, Garret Hilbert and Cody Jones. They met at Texas A&M University and launched their YouTube channel in 2009. The videos quickly became a hit, eventually leading to television appearances, brand deals with major advertisers and live tours.

The Dude Perfect YouTube channel has over 60 million subscribers and over 17 billion views. According to Social Blade, it is the 35th most subscribed channel.

Dude Perfect is more than just a YouTube channel. Headquartered in Frisco, Texas, with a team of 25 employees, they have secured various brand partnerships, including their own Smoothie King smoothies, a line of Nerf products, and even Have their own board game.

“Whether it’s toys, food and drink, or whatever, it really just allows families to connect with you and each other,” said Jason Illian, co-founder of Highmount Capital. “They’ve built such a large business now that we want to partner with Running these businesses in parallel allows them to grow faster.”

The investment adopts a long-term holding structure. Highmount Capital plans to become Dude Perfect’s long-term financial partner and see the group expand beyond online publishing.

The team’s future is dubbed “Dude Perfect 2.0,” and plans include opening a retail store, launching a streaming platform, launching a line of toys and games at Walmart, and even envisioning A $100 million theme park.

“We will continue to watch the show while also specifically providing opportunities for families to touch and feel the Dude Perfect they love,” Cotton said.

The Dude Perfect team has mastered family-friendly entertainment, which is key to attracting more advertisers on YouTube.

“The next generation is not going to start watching cable television right away,” Illian said. “They pick up their phones, they subscribe, they pay attention. These are the people they’re listening to.”
