These are the best companies to work for in Singapore in 2024, according to LinkedIn.

Banks dominate top 5 best companies to work for in Singapore, according to survey LinkedIn announces 2024 list of the nation’s best places to work.

“Commercial banking companies ranging from banks to insurance and digital payments dominate LinkedIn Singapore’s top companies in 2024, accounting for more than half of the top 15 companies (up from just 5 in 2023)” Pooja Chhabria, LinkedIn Asia Pacific editorial director told CNBC Make It.

“This is not surprising as Singapore is an established financial center in the region, characterized by a stable regulatory framework and increasing digital banking adoption,” she said.

LinkedIn’s data evaluates every aspect of career development. It ranks companies based on eight pillars: ability to advance, skill growth, company stability, external opportunities, company affinity, gender diversity; educational background and employee presence in the country.

The list released on Wednesday only includes companies with at least 500 employees in Singapore as of the end of 2023.

Here are the top five names on LinkedIn’s Singapore 2024 list:

1. DBS Bank

2. Schneider Electric

3. Standard Chartered Bank

4. American Express

5. Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation

While commercial banks dominate the list, the healthcare, pharmaceutical and biomedical sectors performed strongly, with five companies in the top 15.

Another fast-growing industry in Singapore is healthcare.
