Asia-Pacific markets opened higher on Monday as investors focused on key economic data from China and India due later in the week.

The world’s second-largest economy is due to release its official purchasing managers’ index on Friday, while India is to release gross domestic product data for its fiscal fourth quarter.

Australia will also release April inflation data on Wednesday, analysts ING expects a “slight decline”.

Japan’s Nikkei 225 Index Up 0.39%, the Topix gained 0.4%, rebounding from Friday’s losses.

Korean Cospi The Kosdaq rose 0.3%, with the small-cap Kosdaq rising 0.35%.

The Australian S&P/ASX 200 Index It also rose 0.52% and is expected to end its four-game losing streak.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index futures were quoted at 18,659 points, opening stronger compared with the Hang Seng Index’s closing point of 18,608.94 points.

Friday in America, Nasdaq Index Shares of Nvidia closed at a record high as gains in chipmaker Nvidia outweighed concerns that the Federal Reserve would delay a rate cut.

The technology index rose 1.1% to close at 16,920.79 points. this S&P 500 Index rose 0.7%, while Dow Jones Industrial Average It rose slightly by 0.01%.

U.S. markets were closed Monday for a holiday.
