Halle Biden, the widow of President Joe Biden’s late son Beau Biden, testified in federal court Thursday that she became a drug addict after the president’s surviving son, Hunter Biden, introduced her to cocaine.

According to NBC News, Halle Biden said during the hearing of Hunter Biden’s gun criminal case in federal court in Delaware, “This was a horrific experience, I am embarrassed, and I am ashamed of everything in my life. It was a shameful period.

Halle Biden began a romance with Hunter Biden after Beau Biden died of brain cancer in 2015. Purchased a Colt Cobra revolver.

Hunter Biden, 54, faces three counts related to the purchase and possession of firearms despite his drug use.

The trial revealed a slew of embarrassing and painful information that could hurt his father’s reelection bid against former President Donald Trump, who was convicted last week of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records.

The current president’s campaign has sought to contrast the image of a stable, morally righteous Democratic incumbent with his lawless, dangerous and incompetent Republican challenger, Trump. Hunter Biden’s trial, filled with horrific details of the president’s only surviving son’s illegal and callous behavior, threatens to blur that distinction.

However, the fact that Hunter is on trial completely undermines the baseless but widely circulated claims by Trump and his allies that his hush-money case in New York state court is an orchestrated witch hunt by Biden.

Halle Biden, who testified under immunity, said Thursday that she found the revolver in Hunter’s truck on Oct. 23, 2018, and threw it behind a grocery store.

“I didn’t want him to hurt himself or my kids by finding it and hurting himself,” she testified.

Prosecutor Leo Wise showed jurors surveillance video of Halle Biden handling guns and ammunition, then entering a grocery store and standing next to a refrigerator but appearing not to buy anything.

“I was very flustered by the whole thing,” she testified. “I realize now that it was a stupid idea, but I just panicked.”

Prosecutor Derek Hines noted in opening statements on Tuesday that Haley Biden had been sober for two months by October 2018, adding that “she remains sober today.”

She also testified about two text messages sent by Hunter on Oct. 13 and Oct. 14, in which he wrote that he was waiting for a “dealer” and “sleeping in a car smoking cocaine.”

The information was critical to the government’s case that there was “overwhelming evidence” that Hunter knew he was a drug addict when he filled out the gun background check form.

Hunter Biden’s attorney, Abbe Lowell, said in opening arguments that while the president’s son has long struggled with substance abuse and continued to drink heavily in 2018, there is reason to question whether he was using drugs when he purchased the gun. Addiction.
