The anti-immigration party led by Dutch nationalist Geert Wilders is expected to make huge gains in the Dutch European Parliament elections on Thursday, exit polls published by broadcaster NOS showed.
Wilders’s PVV party won a national election last year but failed to gain any seats in the last EU elections and is expected to win seven seats, one less than the Labor/Green Left combination.
Exit polls had a margin of error of about one seat.
