Dick’s Sporting Goods — Shares of Dick’s Sporting Goods fell about 1% despite the retailer’s second-quarter results beating Wall Street expectations. Dick’s raised the upper end of its full-year profit forecast, predicting earnings of $13.55 to $13.90 per share, compared with its previous forecast of $13.35 to $13.75 per share. Analysts polled by FactSet forecast $13.80 per share. Dollar Tree — Shares of Dollar Tree plunged nearly 11% after the dollar store missed its second-quarter revenue forecast and lowered its full-year forecast. Dollar Tree expects adjusted earnings of $5.20 to $5.60 per share, compared with the previous estimate of $6.50 to $7 per share. Analysts polled by FactSet expected earnings of $6.56 per share. Hormel Foods – Packaged food stocks fell 8% after fiscal third-quarter sales were weaker than expected and the company lowered its full-year guidance. Hormel’s sales were $2.9 billion, below analysts’ forecasts of $2.95 billion, according to FactSet. Sweetgreen — Shares of Sweetgreen rose 1.8% after TD Cowen upgraded the salad chain to buy from hold, citing the company’s introduction of automated kitchens as a share price catalyst. Zscaler — The cloud security company’s fiscal first-quarter profit forecast fell short of Wall Street expectations, sending its shares down nearly 17%. Zscaler expected earnings of 62 cents to 63 cents per share, while analysts polled by LSEG expected earnings of 73 cents per share. Full-year earnings are expected to be $2.81 to $2.87 per share, while analysts expected $3.33 per share. GitLab — The software developer’s third-quarter profit forecast topped Wall Street expectations, sending shares soaring 11%. GitLab expected profits of 15 cents to 16 cents per share, while analysts polled by LSEG expected profits of 11 cents per share. The company’s full-year revenue forecast is US$742 million to US$744 million, also higher than the forecast of US$737 million. AMD — Shares of the chipmaker rose 2% in premarket trading, rebounding from a 7.8% plunge the previous day amid broad weakness in the semiconductor industry. PagerDuty — The cloud computing stock plunged more than 12% after missing second-quarter revenue estimates and issuing upbeat forecasts for the current quarter. PagerDuty forecast third-quarter revenue between $115.5 million and $117.5 million, while analysts polled by LSEG expected $120.3 million.
