Franchisees have been voting to extend value meals, with around 80% of local markets choosing to extend the deal until December. Voting on the extension is ongoing, so more locations may be added in the coming weeks.
The value meal includes a McDonald’s sandwich or McChicken sandwich, small fries, four chicken nuggets and a small soft drink for $5.
In addition to value packages, owners will also be offering local promotions in the coming weeks and months, the company said. McDonald’s app will also offer deals.
