U.S. President-elect Trump said on Saturday that he has chosen real estate tycoon Charles Kushner, the father of son-in-law Jared Kushner, to serve as U.S. ambassador to France.

“He (Charles Kushner) is a great business leader, philanthropist and dealmaker who will be a powerful advocate on behalf of our country and its interests,” Trump announced at the Truth Society said the selected post.
