Spotify Wrapped 2024 is now available, giving hundreds of millions of users access to the most played songs and artists of the year.
The annual report, which allows users to compare their music listening habits with other fans around the world, began rolling out to all users on the streaming platform on Wednesday.
This year, Spotify is adding additional AI features to enhance the Wrapped experience for individual users, including personalized AI podcasts about a user’s music listening history, powered by Google’s NotebookLM emerged from an expanded partnership between the two companies.
Last month, Spotify reported earnings that included upbeat fourth-quarter profit guidance, although it missed analysts’ third-quarter revenue and earnings-per-share targets. The company also said that the platform has about 640 million monthly active users, slightly exceeding analyst expectations.
Taylor Swift becomes Spotify’s top global artist for the second year in a row, dominating the world’s most-streamed album chart with “The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology,” while Sabrina Carpenter ‘s hit song “Espresso” is the most played song globally and nationally.
