The sportsbook is testing a new subscription service called DraftKings Sportsbook+ designed to offer paying customers better odds.
The $20-per-month subscription service, which quietly launched on December 28 for select clients in New York, will provide participants with up to a 100% boost in winning streak profits. For example, a two-round win in a row will get a 10% boost, a six-round win in a row will get a 50% boost, and an 11-round win in a row will get the full 100% boost. The maximum qualifying bet is $25.
New York, for one, provides a strong testing ground for DraftKings best performing markets For online gaming.
The company may also seek help offsetting New York state taxes. New York State’s sports betting tax is 51%, tied with New Hampshire for the highest tax rate.
In August, DraftKings announced it would levy a small tax on customers in states with multiple operators and tax rates above 20%, then later announced a change of course.
Others in the industry will be watching closely: DraftKings appears to be the first U.S. operator to launch a subscription service. with interestSports betting, where bettors place bets on multiple events at once, is a lucrative and growing area for sports betting.
DraftKings said in a statement that the subscription service is designed to provide customers with an enhanced fan experience by “creating more excitement and value for our broad range of parlay products.”

The company did not disclose how many users have signed up so far.

While subscriptions are currently only available in New York, DraftKings said it will consider whether to offer the service in other states.
