Donald Trump again targeted the judge’s daughter Wednesday in her upcoming criminal hush-money trial — a day after the judge issued a gag order limiting what Trump could say about the case.

Trump, in a the truth Social screedSlammed New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan as a “hater” and renewed calls for the judge to recuse himself from the case.

Trump pointed to Murchin’s daughter’s work in progressive politics and the social media accounts he claimed belonged to her as evidence that it was “completely impossible” for him to get a “fair trial.”

Trump claimed that Murcha’s daughter “represents Crooked Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Adam ‘Crooked’ Schiff and other radical liberals (and) just posted a photo of me in The jail pictures, that was her obvious target.”

The posts mark the second day in a row that Trump has highlighted Murchin’s daughter as chairwoman of Democratic political consultant Authentic Campaigns. The firm promotes its work for clients including Trump’s presidential opponent, President Joe Biden, as well as other Democratic groups and politicians.

Trump wrote: “Maybe the judge is so annoying because his daughter is making money by ‘catching Trump,’ and when he rules against me time and time again, he is costing her company and her Getting richer and richer.” “How can this be allowed?”

Trump’s attorney, Todd Branch, declined to comment on Trump’s post because of the gag order that restricts Trump from making certain remarks about “any attorney or staff member’s family.”

The posts continued Trump’s series of attacks on Merchant, which began when a judge set an April 15 trial date in the hush-money case. Trump has been charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records to conceal hush-money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels.

Trump’s latest attack on Mocha’s daughter goes further than his past remarks, claiming she “just posted” a photo of him in jail.

Trump seemed to be referring to social media account On X, Authentic had previously connect and the merchant’s daughter.

As recently as Wednesday, the X account’s profile photo included an edited image of Trump hiding behind a metal railing. As of Wednesday afternoon, the profile photo had been changed to a childhood photo of Vice President Kamala Harris. Harris shared the photo on social media during the 2019 Democratic primary debate, shortly after she attacked then-rival Joe Biden’s busing record.

It is unclear whether the account name belongs to Merchan’s daughter. X indicates that the account was “joined in April 2023”, which is a few months later than Authentic. recent Quote it on social media.

Still, Trump insisted on Wednesday that the account was hers, even as he criticized his latest gag order.

“So, let me be clear, a judge’s daughter can post photos of her ‘dream’ of putting me in jail, the Manhattan District Attorney can tell any lie about me, a judge can violate our laws and our Constitution every time, But I’m not allowed to talk about the attacks against me and the lunatics who are trying to destroy my life and prevent me from winning the 2024 presidential election that I lead?” he wrote.

The gag order imposed Tuesday does not completely restrict Trump from talking about his critics. He can still criticize his prosecutor, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, and he is not explicitly prohibited from talking about Merchants himself.

However, Trump is prohibited from making public statements about potential witnesses and jurors in the case.

He cannot speak about comments made by attorneys on the case, court staff, employees of the district attorney’s office and their families if they were made “with the intent to materially interfere” with the proceedings.

“Such inflammatory remarks undoubtedly have the potential to impede the orderly administration of this court,” the judge wrote, noting the “nature and impact of the remarks directed at this court and its family.”

“Given the impending eve of trial, there is no question that the imminent risk of harm is now critical,” he wrote.
