Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said the ministers “have always been considered true friends in Russia”.
“The Russian Federation expresses its sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the plane crash and to the entire friendly Iranian people,” Lavrov said, according to state news agency TASS.
