LONDON – Nigel Farage, the British politician and media figure best known for leading the Brexit campaign, announced on Monday that he will run in next month’s British general election.

Farage has said he will not stand as the Reform Party’s congressional candidate in order to focus on supporting Donald Trump’s US presidential campaign.
