Bank of China The bank said Vice Chairman and President Liu Jin resigned due to personal reasons, effective Sunday.
The state-owned bank said in a statement that its board of directors had approved Chairman Ge Haijiao to serve as acting president.
Liu, 57, has held senior positions at major Chinese banks including Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBCA.UL) and China Development Bank. He once served as president of China Everbright Bank and joined Bank of China in 2021 as vice chairman and president.
