Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said Thursday that he will not debate his Democratic rival, Vice President Kamala Harris, again.

“The polls clearly showed I won Tuesday night’s debate with Democratic radical left candidate Kamala Harris, who immediately called for a second debate,” Trump wrote.

The showdown in Philadelphia is Trump’s second presidential debate of the 2024 election cycle. In late June, he debated President Joe Biden, who performed so poorly that he ultimately withdrew his reelection bid and endorsed Harris as his successor.
Trump wrote in his Truth Society post, “Kamala should focus on what she has been doing for nearly four years. There will be no third debate!”
The Harris campaign did not immediately respond to CNBC’s request for comment.
