The Ukrainian military said on Monday that its air force shot down two of three Russian-launched Shahd drones overnight.
The General Staff’s report on Facebook did not provide further information about the attack.
Separately, Ukraine’s Energy Ministry said that equipment at a substation in the southern Zaporozhye region was damaged after a drone attack. It did not say what type of drone was used.
Ukraine was relatively calm on Monday night, more than a week after Russia stepped up a series of attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
On March 22, Russian forces carried out the largest attack on power grid infrastructure since the two-year war, causing significant damage and causing widespread blackouts. Russia last week continued to target thermal and hydroelectric power plants in Ukraine.
