Earlier JetBlue Airways Chief Executive Robin Hayes will succeed Jeffrey Knittel in running Airbus North America, the planemaker said on Monday.

Hayes, a long-time airline executive who also held senior leadership roles at British Airways, will start his role in June. When Hayes announced his resignation in January, he said: “The immense challenges and stress of this job have taken their toll, and based on the advice of my doctors and conversations with my wife, it was time for me to focus more on myself. Healthy and fit again.
