“Globally, one in four professionals is actively seeking work abroad,” according to Decoding Global Talent Report 2024 Presented by The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in partnership with The Network and The Stepstone Group.
The report found that despite recent widespread economic and geopolitical concerns, the proportion of people actively seeking work abroad is increasing.
The global study, based on more than 150,000 respondents in 188 countries, shows that the number of people actively moving will increase from 21% in 2020 to 23% in 2023.

The survey found that 57% of respondents also liked Singapore’s quality of life as well as income, taxes and cost of living. More than half (or 55%) of the respondents said that safety, stability and security were also considerations in choosing Singapore as their preferred work destination.
