discount carrier Frontier Airlines Services are being enhanced in New York, with new routes planned to major major cities American Airlines Ticket prices are less than $20 at the hub.
The airline plans to launch flights between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Miami International Airport on March 30.
According to Frontier’s website, the base round-trip ticket price for a round-trip flight departing April 1 and returning a week later is $38, does not include seat assignments or carry-on baggage, and is non-refundable. On May 1, the company plans to launch daily nonstop flights between JFK International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport.
Frontier is optimistic about its expansion and said it plans to return to double-digit profit margins around mid-2025. The ultra-low-cost airline’s shares have risen 17% since the start of the year and it raised its fourth-quarter forecast to a pre-tax margin of 4% from a break-even point.
